Why This Site Exists

Cook Out does not publish prices. Not on its website, not in its app browser, not anywhere you can check before you drive out. For a chain whose entire appeal is being cheap, that is a strange gap, and it is the reason people search for the menu with prices thousands of times a day.

What they find is mostly guesswork. Menu sites copy each other, numbers drift years out of date, and nobody says where anything came from. We built this to be the version that shows its working: every item priced, every figure traceable, every page dated.

What We Track

How We Get Our Data

Prices are read from live Cook Out ordering menus at real store locations, then cross checked between locations so a single odd store does not skew a figure. They are platform prices, which sit at or slightly above what the window charges, and they vary between cities. We say so on every table rather than pretending one number covers the country.

Nutrition comes from Cook Out's own published nutrition data, mapped item by item onto the menu. 110 items carry a full macro set. Where an item is a styled version of a base item, the figures combine the published base and topping values, and the item page states that plainly instead of hiding it.

Locations and hours were collected one restaurant at a time: 366 addresses, with opening hours confirmed for 356 of them. Where a restaurant publishes no hours, we leave the field empty rather than filling it with the chain average.

Refresh cadence. The whole site rebuilds every week. That rebuild pulls current prices, recalculates every total, and refreshes the ratings and comments baked into each page. The date on a page is the date that page last changed, not a rolling stamp.

What we will not do. We do not invent a price to fill a gap, we do not publish a calorie count we cannot source, and we do not seed fake comments to make the site look busy. An empty field stays empty.

CookoutMennu.us is maintained by a small editorial team rather than a named personality. We are not chefs, franchise owners or industry insiders, and we do not claim to be. What we do is data work: collect the menu, verify it, structure it, and publish it in a form that answers the question you actually had.

The site carries advertising, which is what pays for the hosting and the time. Ads never influence which items appear or what a price says, and nothing on this site is a paid placement by Cook Out or anyone else.

Corrections

Prices move and restaurants change hours. If you paid something different from what a page says, tell us: the item, the restaurant and what you were charged. Corrections go into the next weekly rebuild, and it is the single most useful thing anyone sends us.
